Peruvanam Mahadeva Temple

Dedicated primarily to Lord Shiva, the temple also houses shrines for Goddess Parvati, Ganesha, Bhadrakali, Subramanya, Ayyappa, Vishnu, and Durga, making it a significant spiritual destination for devotees seeking darshan of multiple deities.

The temple is renowned for its Kerala-style architecture and is recognized as an ASI-protected monument.

Its historical origins are attributed to local Namboodiri village councils and chieftains (Yogiyathiri), with mythological associations to Pooru or Lord Parashurama, though the exact period of construction remains unknown or disputed.

Devotees can participate in a variety of poojas conducted in Sanskrit and Malayalam, including Usha Pooja, Ethathu Pooja, Pantheeradi Pooja, Ucha Pooja, Deeparadhana, Athazha Pooja, and special offerings like Archana and Pushpanjali (each priced at ₹10).
