The temple observes a traditional dress code to maintain the sanctity of the premises. Men are expected to wear traditional or modest conservative clothing such as dhotis, kurtas, or simple trousers and shirts, while shorts and sleeveless attire are discouraged inside the inner sanctum.

Women are encouraged to wear traditional Indian attire like sarees, salwar kameez, or modest suits. For visitors arriving by vehicle, parking space is somewhat limited, and the surrounding streets can become congested, especially during peak festival days.

Informal parking is available nearby for two-wheelers and cars. The temple provides a wheelchair-accessible entrance, though the approach roads may present mobility challenges during crowded periods.

Photography, video recording, and mobile phone usage are strictly prohibited near the main Shivling to preserve the sanctity of the inner sanctum. However, casual photography of the outer historic fort architecture and the temple’s exterior is generally tolerated, provided it is not overly crowded.
