- From Chennai, drive via ECR through Pondicherry, Karaikal, and Nagapattinam to Velankanni (approx. 320 km).
- From Tiruchirappalli, take NH67 to Nagapattinam, then south to Velankanni (approx. 150 km).
- Hourly SETC buses run from Chennai, Bangalore, Coimbatore, and Madurai to Velankanni.
