Thiruchendur Murugan Temple, also known locally as Subramanya Swamy Temple, Senthil Andavar Temple, and Tiruchendur Senthilnathar Temple, is a renowned pilgrimage centre situated on the eastern edge of Tiruchendur in Thoothukudi district, Tamil Nadu. Overlooking the shores of the Bay of Bengal, this ancient seaside temple is dedicated primarily to Lord Murugan, with shrines also for Lord Shiva (Thiruchendur Nathar) and Lord Vishnu (Perumal). The temple’s Dravidian architectural style and its status as a living heritage temple attract devotees and tourists alike.
