Swaminarayan Temple Junagadh

This ancient temple, built during the British colonial era, was commissioned by Bhagwan Swaminarayan and constructed under the guidance of Brahmanand Swami, with land generously gifted by King Hemantsinh (Jinabhai, Darbar of Panchala).

The temple is managed as a living heritage site by a local trust, preserving its spiritual and cultural significance for generations of devotees. Located on Jawahar Road near Jawahar Chauk, Mullawada, and Shreenath Nagar, the temple is easily accessible from major city landmarks.

Pilgrims can partake in traditional prasad and annadanam, with meals sometimes offered free or at nominal cost. Photography is strictly prohibited inside the inner shrine, but casual photography is permitted in the outer courtyards and gardens as per signage.
