Sarkaradevi Temple

This living heritage temple is dedicated primarily to Goddess Shakti (Amman) and also enshrines other deities such as Lord Veerabhadra, Lord Naga, Goddess Yakshi Amma, Ganapathy, Rama, Krishna, Vishnu, and Narasimha, making it a significant spiritual destination for devotees seeking darshan and blessings.

The temple showcases traditional Kerala architecture and is renowned for its vibrant religious activities. Daily darshan is available with free entry, and the temple is open from 5:00 AM to 11:45 AM and 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, making early mornings and evenings especially auspicious for visits.

The best times to visit include the early morning hours, during morning poojas, evening aarti, winter months (November to February), and the festival season. Sarkaradevi Temple is celebrated for its elaborate pooja rituals conducted in Sanskrit and Malayalam.
