Ranipur Jharial Chausath Yogini Temple

Revered as an ASI protected monument and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, this temple stands as a testament to Odisha’s rich spiritual and architectural heritage.

The temple is primarily dedicated to Goddess Shakti (Amman) and is renowned for its unique circular structure housing the 64 Yoginis.

Alongside the Yoginis, devotees can also offer prayers to Lord Nataraja, Lord Someswar (Shiva), and Indreshwar (Shiva), making it a significant destination for followers of Shakti and Shaiva traditions.

The temple’s architecture is distinct, classified under ‘Other’ styles, and it is also considered a cave temple, adding to its mystical aura. Visitors can experience free darshan at the Ranipur Jharial Chausath Yogini Temple, with entry open daily from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Rituals and poojas are conducted in Sanskrit and Odia, providing an authentic spiritual ambiance. While there is no strict dress code, men are advised to wear modest, respectful casual attire, and women are recommended to dress conservatively.

From Titlagarh, it is about 30 km southwest, reachable by taxi, auto, or bus towards Bangomunda/Sindhekela. From Balangir, the journey is 100–150 km south via Titlagarh/Kantabanji by bus or cab.
