About

ISKCON Temple Lucknow, also known locally as ISKCON Lucknow, Hare Krishna Temple, and Sri Sri Radha Raman Bihari Ji Mandir, is a prominent pilgrimage centre in the city of Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.

Located in Sushant Golf City, Sector F, near Amar Shaheed Path and Jaipuria School, this temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna and Radha.

Built by the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), the temple stands as a modern spiritual destination for devotees and visitors seeking darshan and a peaceful devotional atmosphere.

The temple welcomes visitors daily, with timings from 04:30 AM to 12:30 PM and again from 04:00 PM to 08:00 PM. Early mornings between 5–8 AM and evening aarti times are considered the best periods to visit, especially during the winter months from November to February.

The temple conducts a variety of daily poojas and rituals, including Mangala Aarti at 04:30 AM, Shringar Darshan at 07:30 AM, Bhagavatam Discourse at 08:00 AM, Raj Bhoga Aarti at 12:30 PM, Usthapana Aarti at 04:30 PM, Tulsi Aarti at 06:45 PM, Sandhya Aarti (Gaura Arati) at 07:00 PM, Bhagavad-gita Discourse at 07:30 PM, and Shayana Aarti at 08:30 PM.

These ceremonies are conducted in Hindi, English, and Sanskrit, offering a spiritual experience for devotees from diverse backgrounds. Darshan is free for all visitors.

ISKCON Temple Lucknow celebrates several festivals throughout the year, including Janmashtami (August-September), Deepotsava/Kartika and Govardhan Puja (October-November), Radha Ashtami (September), Rathyatra, and the Mango Festival in June.

During major festivals and weekends, freshly prepared vegetarian prasadam is distributed, and visitors can also enjoy meals at Govinda’s restaurant located on the premises. For those planning a visit, the temple is easily accessible.

From Charbagh Railway Station (16–18 km) and Lucknow Junction (16 km), one can hire a prepaid taxi, auto-rickshaw, or app-based cab via Shaheed Path flyover. The nearest airport, Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport, is about 15–18 km away, with convenient cab services available.

The Krishna Nagar metro station is the closest, from where auto-rickshaws can take you to Golf City. Ample on-site parking is available, and the premises are wheelchair accessible and senior-citizen friendly.

Visitors are requested to follow the temple’s dress code: men should wear traditional attire like Dhoti-Kurta or modest shirts and trousers, while women are encouraged to wear saree, salwar kameez, or long skirts, ensuring shoulders and knees are covered.

Photography is permitted in the outer areas and gardens, but restricted inside the main temple hall; professional equipment requires special permission.
