Gondeshwar Temple Sinnar

This ancient temple, protected by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI), is a remarkable example of Nagara (North Indian) architectural style and is believed to have been constructed by the Yadava or Gavali chief Rav Singhuni or his son Rav Govinda during the 11th–12th century CE, though the exact historical period remains disputed.

The temple is primarily dedicated to Lord Shiva, with sanctums also honoring Surya, Vishnu, Parvati, and Ganesha. Gondeshwar Temple is renowned for its intricately carved stone exteriors and spiritual ambience, attracting devotees and heritage enthusiasts alike.
