Kapaleshwar Temple Nashik

Dedicated primarily to Lord Shiva, this ancient temple also enshrines deities such as Lord Ganesha, Lord Hanuman, and Goddess Gayatri, making it a significant spiritual destination for devotees seeking darshan and blessings.

The temple is recognized for its heritage status, with roots tracing back to the Maratha period and connections to the Peshwa or Maratha regional governance. Managed by a local trust, Kapaleshwar Temple is an important state heritage site.

Its unique setting as a riverbank temple adds to the serene and spiritual atmosphere, especially during the early morning hours and evening aarti, which are considered the best times to visit.
