Sri Narasimha Swami Temple Vadamalapeta

Dedicated primarily to Lord Vishnu in his Narasimha avatar, the temple also enshrines Goddess Lakshmi and Chenchu Lakshmi Thayar, making it a significant spiritual destination for devotees seeking divine blessings.

The temple showcases classic Dravidian architecture and traces its origins to the Vijayanagara period, with initial construction by local kings and subsequent renovations by the Vijayanagara dynasty. Perched amidst scenic hills, the temple offers a tranquil atmosphere for worship and reflection.

Devotees can visit the temple during its open hours from 6:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The best time to visit is early in the morning between 5:00 and 8:00 AM, or during the cooler winter months from November to February, ensuring a comfortable and serene darshan experience.

The temple enforces a traditional dress code: men are required to wear a white dhoti and shirt or kurta and pyjama, avoiding T-shirts, jeans, and shorts, while women should wear a saree or salwar kameez with pallu or dupatta, avoiding western attire and short skirts.

Sri Narasimha Swami Temple Vadamalapeta offers both free darshan and special darshan (with a nominal fee of ₹5).

Photography is strictly prohibited inside the sanctum, and electronic devices are not allowed in the main premises, with locker facilities provided.
