Sri Kapileswara Swami Temple

This temple is a significant pilgrimage centre, renowned for its Dravidian architecture and its historical roots dating back to the Vijayanagara period, having been built by rulers of the Vijayanagara Empire.

The temple is dedicated primarily to Lord Shiva and also houses shrines for Kamakshi Amman, Lord Venkateswara, and Vinayaka, making it a spiritual destination for devotees seeking blessings from multiple deities.

Pilgrims visiting the temple can participate in various poojas conducted in Sanskrit, such as Abhishekam (9:30 AM – 12:00 PM), Padala Seva (5:30 AM – 7:30 PM), and Ekantha Seva (7:30 PM – 8:00 PM), with nominal charges for each ritual.

Free darshan is available for all visitors, and the temple timings are from 5:00 AM to 4:00 PM and 4:30 PM to 9:00 PM, allowing ample opportunity for devotees to plan their visit.
