By road
- From Vijayawada Railway Station (3–5 km): Exit the station and take a city bus or auto-rickshaw to the Durga Temple Bottom or Prakasam Barrage.
- From Pandit Nehru Bus Station (2–3 km): Take an auto-rickshaw across the Prakasam Barrage.
- At the bottom, walk up approximately 400 steps or take authorized local vehicles/GHMC buses up the ghat road.
- Use local auto-rickshaws for last mile as parking is limited at the top.
