Somasila Someswara Swami Temple

Situated on the scenic banks of the Penna River in Somasila, Sri Potti Sriramulu Nellore district, Andhra Pradesh, this temple stands as a prominent pilgrimage centre and a living heritage site.

The temple is renowned for its Dravidian architectural style, reflecting the craftsmanship of the Chola period. It was originally built by the Chola dynasty or early South Indian rulers, with subsequent additions by later dynasties.
