Sant Dnyaneshwar Samadhi Temple Alandi

This ancient temple stands at the heart of Bhosale Nagar / Alandi Gaon and draws devotees from across India seeking spiritual solace and darshan at the samadhi of Sant Dnyaneshwar.

The temple also houses shrines dedicated to Lord Shiva (Siddheshwar), Muktabai, and Pundalik, making it a significant spiritual destination for followers of the Bhakti tradition. The temple opens its doors daily from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM, with the auspicious Kakad Aarti commencing as early as 4:00 AM.

The inner sanctum remains closed from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM. Pilgrims are encouraged to visit in the early morning hours (5–8 AM), during the winter months from November to February, or in the vibrant festival season for a more serene darshan experience.

Poojas are conducted in Marathi and Sanskrit, preserving the temple’s deep-rooted traditions. Major festivals celebrated here include Kartiki Ekadashi & Samadhi Divas (Alandi Yatra) in Kartik (November), Ashadhi Wari (Palkhi Departure) in Jyeshtha/Ashadh (June–July), and the monthly Ekadashi.

Reaching the temple is convenient from Pune, with clear directions via Airport Road or Nagar Road, continuing on NH 965 and Alandi Road, and crossing the bridge into Alandi Gaon.

The nearest railway stations are Pune Junction (21.5 km) and Chinchwad (16.9 km), while Pune International Airport is just 16 km away.
