- From Tiruchirappalli city center, take a local or mofussil bus from Chatram Bus Stand directly to Samayapuram temple.
- By taxi or auto-rickshaw, travel approximately 15–16 km north via the Chennai-Trichy Highway (NH38).
- By personal vehicle, drive north from Trichy towards Chennai on NH38 and follow signs for Samayapuram/S. Kannanur. The temple is located off the highway via the Samayapuram Arch.
