About

Radha Raman Temple, also known as Sri Radha Raman Mandir, is a revered pilgrimage centre and ancient temple dedicated to Lord Krishna, with Radharani also worshipped here.

Situated in Radharaman Ghera, near Nidhivan and Rangaji Temple in Vrindavan, Mathura district, Uttar Pradesh, this temple is a significant spiritual destination for devotees seeking darshan and participation in traditional poojas.

The temple stands out for its beautiful Rajasthani architecture and is recognized as a living heritage temple. Built by Gopala Bhatta Goswami, Radha Raman Temple is a prominent site in the sacred city of Vrindavan, drawing pilgrims from across India and beyond.

The temple’s location is easily accessible, being just 1 km from Vrindavan Station (BDB) and about 12 km from Mathura Junction (MTJ) and Mathura Cantt Station (MRT).

For those traveling by air, Agra Airport is 75 km away, while Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi is around 160 km from the temple. Darshan at Radha Raman Temple is free for all visitors.

The temple observes different timings for summer and winter: in summer, it is open from 5:00 AM to 12:30 PM and 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM; in winter, timings are 5:30 AM to 12:30 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

The best time to visit is early morning or during the winter months (November to February) and festival seasons, when the spiritual atmosphere is especially vibrant.

Daily poojas and aartis are conducted in Sanskrit, including Mangala Aarti (4:00 AM in summer, 5:30 AM in winter), Shringar Aarti (7:30 AM), Sandhya Aarti (7:00 PM), and Shayan Aarti (8:00 PM). Special rituals like Seva Mahotsava, Abhishek, and Special Shringar are also performed.

Major festivals celebrated here include Radha Raman Appearance Day (Vaishakh Purnima in May), Holi, Janmashtami, Radhashtami, Jhulan Yatra, and Sharad Purnima. Visitors are required to wear modest and traditional Indian attire covering shoulders and knees.

Photography is strictly prohibited inside the main sanctum, and cameras or phones must be deposited before entering the inner shrine. Pure vegetarian Mahaprasadam is distributed, usually in the evening after Sandhya Arati, especially on weekends and festival days.

Reaching the temple involves taking a taxi, auto-rickshaw, or e-rickshaw from Mathura City to Vrindavan, followed by a short walk or e-rickshaw ride due to the narrow lanes. Parking is challenging near the temple, so it is advised to use public parking at the Vrindavan entrance.

Accommodation options such as guest houses, ashrams, and hotels are available within 100–200 meters, including MVT Guest House, Maheshwari Seva Sadan, and Nikunj Ashram, with more options near Prem Mandir.

For those interested in exploring further, nearby attractions include Banke Bihari Mandir, Nidhivan, Radha Vallabh Temple, ISKCON Vrindavan, Prem Mandir, and Keshi Ghat.
