By road
- From Chennai (275 km): Take NH32/NH45 towards Trichy, then switch to the Kumbakonam route.
- From Trichy (91 km): Take NH83 toward Thanjavur/Kumbakonam.
- From Thanjavur (40 km): Take the Kumbakonam-Thanjavur main road towards Kumbakonam town center.
- Upon entering Kumbakonam, head towards the town center (LBS Road/Maha Maham Tank Road). The tank is adjacent to the Kasi Viswanathar Temple and near the Kumbakonam bus stand.
