Kalimath Temple (Kali Shakti Peeth)

Recognized as a Shakti Peetha and an ancient hill temple, Kalimath Temple attracts devotees seeking the blessings of Goddess Shakti, the temple’s primary deity.

The temple complex also houses shrines dedicated to Goddess Mahalakshmi, Goddess Mahasaraswati, Gauri Shankar (Shiva-Parvati), Lord Ganesha, Nandi, ancient Shivlings, and Kshetrapal Bhairava, making it a significant spiritual destination for worshippers of the divine feminine and Shiva traditions.

The temple’s architecture follows the Nagara (North Indian) style, and it is locally referred to by several names including Siddha Peetha, Seedha Peetha, and Giriraj Peeth.

The temple is open from 5:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with early mornings and evening aarti times being particularly recommended for darshan.
