Jahura Kali Temple Malda

Despite its historical roots, the temple is considered to be of modern or recent period, having undergone various renovations. Jahura Kali Temple is primarily open to devotees on Tuesdays and Saturdays, from approximately 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Timings may vary slightly depending on the season and ongoing rituals, and the temple remains closed to the general public on other days.

For those planning a visit, the best time is during the winter months from November to February, during festival seasons, or specifically in the morning hours between 8 AM and 12 PM, and during the evening aarti. The temple observes a modest dress code to maintain the sanctity of the premises.

Men are expected to wear traditional or modest casual attire such as full-length trousers, dhotis, kurtas, or jeans with shirts, avoiding shorts or sleeveless apparel. Women are encouraged to wear sarees, salwar kameez, or modest kurtis.
