Hoysaleswara Temple Halebidu, also known as Halebidu temple, Hoysaleshwara Temple, Dorasamudra temple, and Dwarasamudra temple, is a renowned ancient temple and pilgrimage centre located in Halebidu, Hassan district, Karnataka.

Dedicated primarily to Lord Shiva, this magnificent temple also enshrines other deities such as Shantaleswara, Surya, Nandi, Vishnu, and various forms of Shakti, making it a significant spiritual destination for devotees and visitors alike.

The temple is celebrated for its exquisite Hoysala architecture, with intricate carvings and sculptures that attract art lovers and history enthusiasts from across the world. Built by King Vishnuvardhana of the Hoysala Empire, Hoysaleswara Temple stands as a testament to the region’s rich heritage.

Reaching Hoysaleswara Temple Halebidu is convenient from various locations. From Bengaluru, travelers can take NH75 towards Hassan and then proceed to Halebidu via Belur or state highways. From Hassan, the temple is about 30–32 km away and can be reached by taxi or KSRTC bus.

Those coming from Belur will find Halebidu just 16 km away, accessible by local buses or rickshaws.

The nearest railway stations are Hassan Junction (30 km) and Arsikere Junction (50 km), while the closest airports are Mangaluru International Airport (185 km) and Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru (210 km).
