Harsiddhi Mata Temple Miyani

This ancient hill and seaside temple is dedicated primarily to Goddess Shakti, venerated here in various local forms such as Harshad Mata, Harshat Mata, Harshad Amba, Vahanvati Mata, Harshal Mata, Shikotar, Sikotar, and Momai.

The temple complex also houses shrines for Lord Shiva, Sheth Jagdu Shah, and the Matrika goddesses, making it a significant spiritual destination for devotees seeking darshan and blessings.

The temple is accessible via the Porbandar–Dwarka State Highway, with a drive of approximately 40 km from Porbandar city. Pilgrims can reach Gandhvi/Miyani village by car, taxi, or bus in about 45 minutes.

For those unable to climb, a road-level shrine is available near the base, which is wheelchair accessible. To visit the main hilltop temple, devotees must ascend about 260–300 steps up Koyla Dungar, offering panoramic views of the Arabian Sea and the surrounding countryside.

Harsiddhi Mata Temple Miyani is open daily from 7:00 AM to 8:30 PM, with early morning openings around 5:00 AM on select days and a brief afternoon closure between rituals. The best time to visit is during winter (November to February), early mornings (5–8 AM), or during the evening aarti.

Morning Aarti is performed between 6:00 AM and 9:00 AM, while the Evening Sandhya Aarti takes place from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Personal sankalpa puja and havan can also be arranged, with rituals conducted in Gujarati and Sanskrit. Both free and special darshan are available at no charge.

Devotees are advised to follow the traditional dress code: men should wear dhoti, mundu, or full-length trousers/kurta, and women should opt for saree, salwar kameez, or long skirt with dupatta or choli. Revealing clothes, shorts, and sleeveless tops are not permitted.

The temple celebrates major festivals such as Navratri (Sharad & Chaitra), Divaotsav/Diwali & Hindu New Year, and Janmashtami, drawing pilgrims from across the region.

Standard prasad like sweets and laddoos is distributed after aartis, and basic annadanam and festival bhandaras are organized by the temple trust or devotees. Basic dharmshalas at the foothills offer accommodation for nominal donations, while more options are available in Porbandar and Dwarka.

Nearby attractions include Kirti Mandir, Sudama Temple, Huzoor Palace, Dwarkadhish Temple, and Miyani Beach.
