The main worship hours at Ghatotkach Temple are from 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM, though the temple itself remains open 24 hours for those wishing to experience its spiritual ambiance at any time. Free darshan is available to all, with no entry fee, ensuring accessibility for everyone.

Poojas and rituals are conducted in Sanskrit and Hindi, maintaining the traditional practices of the region. Festivals are an integral part of the temple’s calendar.

Ghatotkach Jayanti is observed here, along with vibrant celebrations during Holi in March, Khatarua in mid-September, and Navratri during March–April and October. These occasions attract devotees from nearby towns and villages, adding to the temple’s lively and communal atmosphere.

Visitors are encouraged to dress modestly; men should opt for trousers, jeans, or traditional attire, avoiding shorts and sleeveless vests near the sanctum, while women are advised to wear sarees, salwar kameez, or long skirts and avoid short skirts or shorts.

Simple offerings such as sweets, fruits, or dry sugar drops (batashe) are distributed as prasadam. However, there is no large-scale annadanam at the temple. To reach Ghatotkach Temple, travelers can first arrive at Champawat town via road from major cities like Kathgodam or Dehradun.

From Champawat, the route leads towards Latoli in the Chowki/Chauki area, near the Golu Devta Temple road. The final approach involves walking via stone steps or earthen trails, which may be challenging for the elderly or those with mobility issues.

There is no dedicated parking, so vehicles should be parked along the nearest motorable roadside. Basic accommodation options, including hotels, lodges, and homestays, are available in Champawat town, as the temple itself does not have a dedicated guesthouse.
