Situated on a picturesque island in the Mahanadi River near Barang and Mancheswar, close to Cuttack in Odisha, this ancient hill and riverbank temple is an important spiritual destination for devotees and travelers alike.

The island is reached by walking across a suspension hanging bridge (for a nominal fee) or by boat across the Mahanadi River. Designated parking is available on the mainland, though wheelchair access is challenging due to the terrain.
