Bhuleshwar Temple

The temple’s origins trace back to the Chola period, having been constructed by the Yadava dynasty rulers of Devagiri, making it a significant historical and spiritual destination for devotees and history enthusiasts alike.

The sanctum of Bhuleshwar Temple enshrines Lord Shiva, while the premises also honor other deities such as Lord Vishnu, Goddess Lakshmi, Apsaras, Lord Ganesha in his unique forms (Ganeshwari, Lambodari, Ganeshyani), as well as female forms of Shiva and Kartikeya.

Photography is permitted in outdoor areas and around the architecture, but discouraged inside the inner sanctum or during rituals.

To reach Bhuleshwar Temple, travel from Pune via Hadapsar along the Pune-Solapur Highway (NH 65), take the turnoff before Yavat, and follow the rural road through Malshiras village up to the hilltop parking area.

Parking is available for 20–30 vehicles, though the site is not wheelchair accessible due to steps and uneven terrain. The nearest railway stations are Yevat (11 km) and Pune Junction (50 km), while Pune International Airport is 55 km away.
