Basaveshwara Temple Basavana Bagevadi

This temple, dedicated primarily to Lord Shiva, is notable for its Chalukya architecture and is recognized as an ASI-protected monument, reflecting its historical and cultural significance.

The temple also houses shrines for Nandi (Moola Nandeeswara), Sangameshwara, Mallikarjuna, Ganapathi, Basavanna, and Basavanna’s wife, making it a spiritually rich destination for devotees.

Devotees can visit the Basaveshwara Temple between 6:00 AM and 8:00 PM, with the best time to visit being during winter months (November to February), early mornings (5–8 AM), evening aarti, or during the vibrant festival season.

The temple observes a traditional dress code: men are expected to wear full pants with a shirt or dhoti/kurta, while women should opt for sarees, salwar kameez, or traditional long skirts with modest tops.
