Arasavalli Suryanarayana Swami Temple, located in the Arasavalli area of Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh, is a renowned ancient temple and pilgrimage centre.

Also known by local names such as Harshavalli, Mahabhaskara Kshetra, and Arasavalli Sun God Temple, this sacred site is recognized for its Kalinga architectural style and its heritage status as a state heritage monument.

The temple is believed to have been built by King Devendra Varma of the Eastern Ganga Dynasty, though the exact historical period remains unknown or disputed.

The presiding deity of the Arasavalli Suryanarayana Swami Temple is Lord Shiva, and the temple also houses shrines for other deities including Lakshminarayana Swami, Radha Krishna, Kamala Devi, Pingala, and Mathara.

The temple is a spiritual hub for devotees seeking darshan and participating in various poojas and sevas. Darshan options include free darshan as well as special darshan tickets priced at ₹100 and ₹300, catering to the needs of different visitors.

Rituals are conducted in Sanskrit and Telugu, ensuring accessibility for a wide range of devotees. Major festivals celebrated here include Ratha Saptami (Surya Jayanti) in February-March and Kalyanotsavams in March-April. For travelers, reaching the temple is straightforward.

The nearest airport is Visakhapatnam International Airport, about 113 km away. From there, taxis or buses can take you to Srikakulam town, followed by a short auto-rickshaw ride to the temple.
