Valliyoorkavu Bhagavathy Temple

Dedicated primarily to Goddess Shakti (Amman), the temple also enshrines other powerful deities such as Vana Durga, Bhadrakali, and Jala Durga. The temple’s architecture reflects the traditional Kerala style, offering devotees a serene and spiritual ambiance.

The temple is open daily from 6:00 AM to 12:30 PM and from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM, making early mornings and evenings especially auspicious for darshan and pooja.

Free darshan is available for all devotees, and the temple observes a traditional dress code: men are expected to wear Kerala attire like mundu or dhoti, with the upper chest bare or modestly covered, while women should wear sarees or long skirts with blouses or salwar kameez, ensuring shoulders and legs are respectfully covered.

Valliyoorkavu Bhagavathy Temple is renowned for its daily poojas, which include Usha Pooja, Ucha Pooja, Athaazha Pooja, Archana, and Pushpanjali. Rituals are conducted in both Sanskrit and Malayalam.
