Sidhbali Baba Dham

Nestled on the banks of the Khoh River at the foothills of the Shivalik Hills in Kotdwar, Pauri Garhwal district, Uttarakhand, this ancient pilgrimage centre draws devotees from across India.

Entry for darshan is free, and traditional prasadam such as Bheli (jaggery/gur) and Batasha with marigold flowers is distributed. A daily free Bhandara (community feast) is organized for all visitors, often sponsored by devotees.

The temple observes several festivals, including Hanuman Jayanti in April (Chaitra month), the Shri Sidhbali Mela in December, Ram Navami during March–April, and Diwali in October–November. Tuesdays and Saturdays are considered especially sacred, attracting larger gatherings of pilgrims.

To reach Sidhbali Baba Dham, visitors can travel to Kotdwar town via National Highway 119 from Delhi, Haridwar, or Rishikesh. From Kotdwar Bus or Railway Station, the temple is just 2–2.5 km away and accessible by auto-rickshaw, cycle-rickshaw, taxi, or private car.

After arriving at the base parking lot, devotees must climb 100–160 stairs to reach the temple. Designated parking is available for a nominal fee, and basic amenities and restrooms are provided.

Nearby railway stations include Kotdwar (2 km), Najibabad Junction (25 km), and Haridwar Junction (75 km). The closest airports are Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun (105 km) and Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi (222 km).

Photography and mobile phone usage are strictly prohibited inside the main prayer halls and near the primary shrines, but casual photography is permitted in the outer complex and gardens, except during aarti and near the sanctum.
