Sai Baba Samadhi Mandir Shirdi

Situated in the Mauli Nagar and Sai Nagar areas of Ahilyanagar (Ahmednagar) district, this temple is a living heritage site and attracts millions of devotees each year.

Built by Shreemant Gopalrao Gopal Hari Butti (Bapusaheb Butty) in the modern era, the temple is dedicated to Sai Baba and also houses shrines for Shivaling, Lord Ganesha, Shankar-Parvati, Shani, and Lord Hanuman.

The temple is open daily from 4:45 AM to 10:45 PM, allowing devotees ample time for darshan and participation in various rituals. Darshan entry is available in three categories: free darshan, special darshan (₹200), and VIP darshan (₹200), catering to different preferences and requirements.

For those unable to visit in person, online darshan is facilitated through the official website and dedicated portal. A rich schedule of poojas and aartis marks the daily spiritual rhythm at Sai Baba Samadhi Mandir.

The day begins with Bhupali (Morning Prayers) at 5:00 AM, followed by Kakad Aarti from 5:15 AM to 5:45 AM and Mangal Snaan at 5:50 AM. Devotees can participate in the Shri Sai Satyanarayan Pooja between 7:00 AM and 12:00 PM, and Abhishek Pooja is conducted in morning slots.

The Dhuni Pooja takes place at 11:30 AM, while the Madhyan Aarti is held from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM. In the afternoon, Pothi (Devotional Reading) is conducted at 4:00 PM. The evening Dhoop Aarti is performed around sunset, and the day concludes with Shej Aarti from 10:00 PM to 10:50 PM.

Poojas are conducted in multiple languages, including Marathi, Hindi, Sanskrit, English, Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada, making the rituals accessible to devotees from across India.

The best time to visit the temple is during the morning hours (8 AM–12 PM), evening aarti, winter months (November to February), and the festival season.

Major festivals celebrated here include Shri Ram Navami (March-April), Guru Purnima (June-July), and Sai Punyatithi (Vijayadashami/Dasara, September-October). Devotees are provided with a free prasadam packet containing two ladoos and sacred dhoop.

The temple trust also operates the Shri Saibaba Prasadalaya, a massive solar-powered facility serving free meals daily from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

The temple complex offers extensive vehicle parking, multi-level spaces, and is wheelchair-friendly with ramps, accessible restrooms, and dedicated pathways. Photography and electronic devices are not permitted inside the main complex, but secure cloakrooms are available for safe deposit.
