Patneswari Temple Patnagarh

This ancient temple is dedicated primarily to Goddess Shakti (Amman), with Lord Shiva (Koshaleswar) also worshipped here, making it a significant pilgrimage centre for devotees seeking divine blessings and spiritual solace.

The temple’s architecture reflects the distinctive Kalinga style, echoing the heritage of the early Chouhan dynasty, with roots tracing back to the 9th–10th century CE. Managed by a local panchayat trust, Patneswari Temple is a vibrant hub for daily worship and major religious festivals.
