- From Kathgodam/Haldwani, ascend via Bhowali-Almora Highway (NH 109).
- Pass Bhowali (9 km before ashram), continue on Nainital–Almora Road.
- Arrive at Kainchi Dham in Kainchi village, right by the roadside.
