Chennakesava Temple Somanathapura

This ancient temple is dedicated primarily to Lord Vishnu, with sanctums also devoted to Janardhana and Venugopala, making it a significant site for devotees seeking darshan of these deities.

The temple stands as a remarkable example of Hoysala architecture and was constructed during the Chola period by Somanatha Dandanayaka under the reign of Hoysala King Narasimha III.
