Ambarnath Ancient Shiva Temple

This ancient temple, recognized as an ASI-protected monument and a state heritage site, stands as a significant example of Nagara (North Indian) architecture, believed to have been built by the Shilahara dynasty, likely under King Chhittaraja around 1060 AD, though the exact historical period remains disputed.
