Shorts, sleeveless clothing, and western beachwear are discouraged to maintain the sanctity of the premises. The temple is renowned for its poojas, including Rudrabhishek, Archana, Kamalpoojan, and Maharudra, conducted in Marathi and Sanskrit.

Major festivals celebrated here include Maha Shivratri (February-March), Shravani Somvar (July-August), Tripurari Pournima/Kartik Yatra (November), Maharudra (December-January), and Dussehra (October).

The temple is accessible after a climb of approximately 700-750 stone steps through a lush forest, taking about 1 to 1.5 hours. Parking is available at the foothills for a nominal fee, but the temple is not wheelchair accessible.
