The temple is renowned for its ancient roots and unique architectural style, and is locally known as Aundha Nagnath or Aundha Nagnath Jyotirlinga. The temple is open daily from 5:30 AM to 9:00 PM, with timings extending as early as 4:00 AM during festival days.

For an enriching spiritual experience, the best time to visit is during the early morning hours between 5 and 8 AM, in the winter months from November to February, or during the vibrant festival season.

Shorts, half-pants, and revealing outfits are not permitted. Reaching the temple is convenient, with clear directions from major cities. From Aurangabad, one can take a bus or taxi via Jalna and Parbhani (200 km).

Nanded is 61–70 km away via the Nanded-Aundha Road, and Hingoli town is just 24–25 km, accessible by auto-rickshaw, shared jeep, or MSRTC bus. The nearest railway stations are Chondi (21 km), Hingoli (25 km), Parbhani Junction (50 km), and Nanded (61 km).
